S'PORE KTV HOSTESS EARNS WHOPPING S$16,000 PER MONTH

Unless you are a hostess, you would not really understand the risky nature of the job.

So declares Miao Miao who works as a freelance nightclub hostess, flitting between three main KTV clubs on Havelock Road.
She is here on a long-term social visit pass and for this reason, she refuses to give us her contact number or name the individual clubs.

Miao Miao, 25, who is from Shanghai, China, says: "I just want to save myself from any potential trouble, be it with my clients or the authorities.

"Or even with the various club management."

Especially now that the leases for the remaining three clubs - Tiananmen KTV & Lounge, Golden Million and Club Infinitude - on Havelock Road are expected to cease by the end of this month.

Miao Miao says that is bad news for her. As it is, when Las Vegas De'Palace closed its doors last June, she saw her monthly income drop by "a drastic 30 per cent".

That is a loss of about $4,000 to $5,000 a month, which come from booking and liquor sale commissions, as well as liquor sale commission and tips from customers.

She says in a dramatic resigned tone: "How am I going to survive if the other three clubs do the same?"

Money is her biggest motivation, admits Miao Miao.

"Come on, anyone who tries to claim otherwise is definitely telling a lie," she says.

What she is quick to dispute though is that the job is easy.

"Try drinking all kinds of liquor non-stop for six hours, six nights, sometimes even seven nights, for just a week. Then tell me if that is easy for you," she challenges me.

She reveals that in the first month of working, "there wasn't a night when the toilet bowl in my home was clean of puke".

But that was eight years ago. She has been trained to hold her liquor well now. And she has grown to recognise the various drinks just from a sniff of the glass.

FRIGHTENING TALES

Horror stories of former hostesses who die from liver failure are widely shared by her peers.

Miao Miao says: "I guess my liver is likely going to be damaged by all the drinking."

Catfights among the hostesses do not happen that often.

"Most times, we are mindful of the different 'turfs' (the clients) and won't touch them unless there are specific requests," she says.

"Even then, the mamasans will be the ones who will negotiate first."

But fights breaking out over the women do happen, she points out.

"Sometimes, it can be customers fighting with each other for the same woman, or it can be a jealous boyfriend who is unhappy with the attention his girlfriend is getting," claims Miao Miao.

Like the incident early Monday morning. Five men were arrested after a fight over a pub hostess erupted into a violent confrontation in a private housing estate.

The clash involved parangs and ended with three of the men in hospital.

Photographer of Tenashar says she is lying and reposts her nudies again

So a few months ago, the photographer who took the nudies of DJ Tenashar messaged me and confirmed that the copyright of those nudies belong to him. Ben Heys is pretty pissed that Tenashar is telling lies about him. Glad that he cleared it out by writing this blog post and also to prove that he owns the nudies photos, he posted them on his blog. So this is what Ben Heys wrote: 

It all started a few years ago when I worked with a model known as Tenashar, full name Debbie Long, from Singapore. The deal was that I would pay for her international travel, food, accommodation and give her a couple hundred on top for some work involving work up to art nude. At that time I was putting together an art nude gallery site (artofimagery.com) which no longer exists now but at the time Debbie was fully aware of how her photos were to be used, including in that site. She agreed to sign a full commercial model release, which she did in fact sign agreeing to my use of her images, including the nudes for any purposes what so ever.

Now all of this TRUTH is in start contrast to many of the remarks made in this published conversation over on Singapore Hall of Shame: here. I also recently checked my spam folder at facebook and found some messages from a print journalist that had requested my side of the story but when I didn’t respond ran the story IN PRINT with only her lies.

But not content to merely lie about me, and suggest that I sell photos that have been taken under a domestic arrangement suppossedly for her own personal use, she actually went to the extent of making up a completely fabricated “contract” apparently signed by me. Only she didn’t even bother to try to match “my signature” to my real signature, which she had a copy of in the form of her copy of the model release we’d both signed (for real) back around when we did the shoot. It is true that sometime after publishing the images on my art nude gallery site Tenashar got cold feet and asked me to pull them down, she offered to exchange some money for this and I agreed to an amount that roughly covered what I’d given her and paid for flights etc. But I quite firmly stated that this was merely to remove the shots from that one nude-dominated gallery site and agree not to post them to other such sites, conditions which I have adhered to strictly. I also made it clear that because she was not reimbursing me for absolutely all the costs of the shoot nor my time I would still retain ownership of the images and would still be able to use them for things such as folios, print projects, folio sites, personal blogs & projects etc. In effect the shoot became a tfp shoot with a commercial release and some “gentleman’s agreement” stipulations.

A while back I got a couple odd messages from Tenashar’s email & facebook accounts, accusing me of selling her images to porn sites etc. When I replied (multiple times) that I’d done no such thing & tried to talk to her more about it I just got no reply. But now that I see these stories pop up and find removed images of her’s all over the internet it makes more sense. Put that together with her very recent posing for Playboy and it seems she was aiming to minimise the nudes of her already out there so that she could ask for more money.

Also for those of you who might think I’m a horrible guy for posting these images, they are already out there, many places. So are her lies about me. I’m not putting out photos that aren’t there, I’m just telling the truth of the story.

Now a word to Tenashar when you inevitably read this: As is my custom and as you’ll remember all of these negotiations were done by email, NOT phone for a good reason, as is also my custom I have never deleted a single email exchanged with a model, ever, including you. I have proof sitting on google’s servers that this story happened just the way I said it did and I have your signed model release, that one really IS your signature. I thus have proof of your fraud and your slander.

I’m happy to let sleeping dogs lay as it is. You’ve slandered me but I’ve had my say now, anyone particularly interested in this story should be able to google this page pretty soon and find the truth. If you want to take it any further be my guest, you won’t like where it goes. Like I said I have all the proof I need to back up every word I’ve said.

Got Singaporeans in Middle East for sexual jihad?

So recently the gahmen say got Singaporeans go the Middle East for militant jihad. But I was thinking better they chiong there then chiong here right?!

The only thing I know about the Middle East violent jihad is that apparently the fighters get served by women who go there for sexual jihad. Some are local girls while others travel from other countries to perform sexual jihad and serve their powerful warriors. I mean how dangerous and sexy is that? Imagine running away from bullets and rockets and shooting assholes, bombing up stuff in the day, and then at night this woman arrive to serve you because of the good things you have done in the day. That fucking rocks man!!! How bloody cool is that??

The militant Islamist group ISIS (the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria) put up posters calling on the people of Mosul to bring them their unmarried girls to participate in “jihad al-nikah,” or sex jihad. The reports came from Al-Masryalyoum, a well-respected Egyptian daily newspaper as well as other sources in the Arab press.

ISIS has recently taken over vast territories in Iraq including Mosul, Iraq’s second largest city. Jihad al-nikah refers to women joining the jihad by offering sex to the male fighters.

Posters in public places in Mosul read:

“We call upon the people of this county to bring their unmarried girls so they can fulfill their duty in sex jihad for their warrior brothers in the city and anyone who will not appear will feel the full force of the sharia [Islamic law] upon him.”

Reports in Mosul indicate that ISIS fighters have been going door-to-door, entering houses, killing the men and raping the women. Rupert Colville, a spokesman in Geneva for Navie Pillay, the top United Nations human rights official, said that he had received information that four women in Mosul had committed suicide after being raped or forced into marriages with the militants.

Al-Iraqiya TV station published a report about the story of two Iraqi girls who were raped by the armed men of ISIS in Mosul (see video below). The two girls, who are sisters, said that ISIS fighters came into their house, killed the men and afterwards, they took turns raping the women.

“They came into the house. They were disgusting. They were armed and spoke among themselves in a language we did not recognize. We were afraid; I tried to save my sister, but one of them hit me with his weapon – on my body and then on my face – me and my sister. I blacked out and woke up to the sound the sounds of the screaming of my neighbor while one of the jihadis was playing with my hair.”

The girls said that the men were Arabs as well as foreigners.

Her sister said, “I heard one of them speaking in a dialect from the Gulf region and the other one was speaking in a language I have never heard before. I kept resisting and he hit me on my head. I woke up and saw that my entire body was covered in blood.”

A Kurdish Iraqi woman, who gave her name only as Um-Lara, reported that she fled to her sister’s house in Baghdad with her children so that her daughters and sons wouldn’t fall into the hands of ISIS.

Um-Lara, who is 40 years old, said that she escaped with her four daughters, who are between the ages of 14 and 23 as well as her two sons, from the Al-Wachda neighborhood in Mosul after men from ISIS started going house to house to take women, girls and boys.

The family fled to the mother’s sister’s house, located in a poor, rough neighborhood in Baghdad, with only the clothes on their backs. Speaking to Novosti (a Russian news agency), Um-Lara said that the militants had kidnapped many women in Mosul, never being heard from again.

To date, there are no statistics on the number of women who have been raped by ISIS since they took over Mosul.
